CDA Part 1 (60 Hours)
The CDA National Credentialing Program is a professional development opportunity for early educators working with children ages birth to 5 years old to demonstrate their knowledge, skills and abilities in the early childhood education field. The CDA credentialing program assesses Candidates using multiple sources of evidence, including an exam, observation and professional portfolio with resources and competency statements prepared by the Candidate.

Health & Safety (15 Hours)
This competency-based 15-hour training provides a foundation for practices that promote and protect the health and safety of children in home-based child care. Successful completion of this course is required for all new family or group family day care applicants in New York State prior to licensure or registration, as well as for existing family or group family day care providers who change location or modality. This course is required for all new FDC and GFDC providers by NYS OCFS.
